Forums

  • 1. Post to the appropriate forum for the topic being presented.
1A. Please post your topic in the relevant forum. Posting technical questions in the "Campfire Chat" forum "just because you want them answered faster" is not acceptable. Technical questions or problems should be posted in the "Hardware, Software, Tips and Tweaks" section, and topics such as "Hey what's the weather like where your at" should be posted in the "Campfire Chat" forum. If a Moderator moves a post/thread, it is a courtesy provided by the Outlaws Management to help keep things categorized properly; however we realize that sometimes a question can cross multiple topics and it isn't exactly clear where it would be best to post. In such instances it is the Moderators choice where the post should be moved to. Therefore, post in the area/forum you feel is most appropriate, and if a moderator feels the need to relocate your post, you will be notified by Private Message.
1B. If a person repeatedly creates new threads which are obviously in the wrong place, a moderator has the right to delete a post / thread without notice.

    2. No spamming.
2A. Any such messages will be removed at the sole discretion of the Outlaws Staff and Moderators. (Spamming is defined as excessive posts that offer no significant value to a topic or posting advertising links). Most of these kinds of posts are just single-word posts that have no meaning or value whatsoever. It can also be a post with one of the Smilies and nothing else. When replying to such a thread, please consider a more definite response that leaves no question as to what you are trying to say. Or even just a post that could be of normal length but takes the thread completely off topic may also be considered spam and be moved or deleted completely).
2B. These restrictions will not apply to Campfire Chat, however, if a topic is requesting specific information, please stick to the topic at hand or your post may be moderated at the discretion of the staff.

    3. No foul language.
There are basic filters for some foul language, but you are also expected to use good judgment and common sense when posting. Members here are of all ages and the content in a post should be suitable for all ages.

If you have a question or comment, send a private message to an Admin.

    8. New members should be treated with respect.
Even if they ask a question that has been answered a dozen times before, simply refer them to the proper thread that answers their question. Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question if you don't know the answer.

    9. No shouting (CAPS Off please)
    It’s rude and annoying.

    10. Do not start threads if:
10A. You are simply responding to another thread that has been locked/deleted by a moderator.
10B. You are asking why a previous thread was locked/deleted by a moderator.
10C. You want to inform the world of matters that are completely pointless. (e.g. "I am so drunk. Look at me type while I am drunk.")
10D. You solely want to complain about the behavior of forum participants or content. In doing so, you are only creating another pointless thread.
10E. You have already posted the same question/comment in another forum. Do not Double Post!
Doing so your post will be removed and a warning issued.

    12. Do not post personal information

16D. Anyone using offending words in there "Teamspeak or Teamspeak leave message" thats is disrespectful to others will be temporally banned until they change it. If they leave there message there or refuse to change it after a warning will result in a full ban - Respect for your fellow racers people

    17. The disciplinary structure will, in most cases, consist of a warning.
17A. The first warning will be just that, a warning about the offence.
17B. The 2nd warning will be a 7 day suspension.
17C. If a 3rd warning is needed the members account will be suspended and the IP banned from the server.
17D. The Outlaws forum staff reserve the right to preview posts by any member who has been reprimanded for any posting violation before the post is allowed. This maybe done to a members account instead of a suspension in certain cases. Any members that spam the WEBSITE after being reprimanded/warned will be banned for 7 days.
